Equestrian Interior Designer, Lindsay Hunter, blends her lifelong passion for horses with her expertise in creating sophisticated, equestrian-inspired spaces. Now, she’s broadening her focus beyond design to build a community of equestrian professionals.

One by one, our Southern California farms are sold and turned into housing developments and/or expansive nurseries. It can make finding that ideal horse property seem daunting, or even impossible, but there are still some communities that protect the equestrian way of life, two of which are La Cresta and Elfin Forest.

From the snow-covered peaks of Montana to the humid bayous of Louisiana, and from the rolling hills of upstate New York to the sun-drenched plains of Texas, the diverse climate zones of the United States demand thoughtful adaptation in luxury stable design.

We sat down with FEI rider Ashley Donadt to explore her perspective on how a well-designed facility can enhance focus, improve horse-and-rider connection, and support peak performance. Her insights offer a fascinating glimpse into the synergy between elite sport and thoughtful design, emphasizing that world-class results require world-class spaces.
